ANDREW LEJON
“A freaking wizard. The greatest magician alive. King of Cards.”
“A freaking wizard. The greatest magician alive. King of Cards.”
Andrew Lejon boarded a plane at the beginning of 2018 with a one-way ticket to perform magic around the world. Equipped with nothing more than a backpack and a deck of cards, Lejon has spent over five years performing mind-shattering magic in over fifty countries. From the back alleys of Bangkok to the Swiss canton of Glarus, his ability to connect with people through magic is undeniable. When asked about performing magic abroad he says, “Magic is a universal language that speaks to everyone.”
Lejon`s magic continues to push the limits of possibilities. When he’s not performing magic, he spends countless hours in solitude studiously exploring new ways to create meaningful experiences for his audiences. This includes many hours of research, experiments, and practice to connect something as seemingly innocent as a deck of cards with deeper cultural and personal meanings. Lejon continuously finds new ways to act as a liaison, of sorts, to connect people with an esoteric experience that induces speechlessness, laughter, and wonder.
Acting as an allegory that represents something much larger than itself, Lejon and his team are currently producing one of his most ambitious projects to date. The intimate theatrical experience will be an artistic paradox that offers a blend of opportunities to experience something exceptionally unique. Designed with exclusivity of immersion into a shared experience in mind, the show will be an experience that`s individually experienced as much as it`s jointly created by each audience.
Andrew Lejon always claims that his next magical feat is his favorite performance. Lejon has performed magic in more countries than there are playing cards in a deck, and he continues to share his magic with the world. His magic can be found across most online streaming platforms, and he`s currently planning a television special that will be released after the conclusion of his one man show.
