Elevate Your Magic.
Refine Your Performance.
Professional creative consulting for intermediate, advanced, and experienced magicians and mentalists seeking to take their craft, routines, and live productions further.
Whether you're refining a single effect, restructuring a complete routine, or developing an original stage production, I offer an experienced outside perspective rooted in decades of practical involvement in the art of magic.
My work combines technical sleight of hand, psychological illusion, performance construction, scripting, and theatrical presentation. Every consultation is tailored to the individual performer, their existing abilities, and their artistic goals.
What We Can Work On
Sleight of Hand & Technique
Refining card handling, technical execution, naturalness, timing, and the deceptive details that separate a good performance from an exceptional one.
Mentalism & Psychological Illusions
Developing and strengthening mentalism presentations, audience interaction, dramatic structure, and psychologically convincing experiences.
Routine Development & Scripting
Improving existing effects, constructing original routines, refining scripts, and creating stronger connections between method, presentation, and audience.
Live Shows & Productions
Consulting on show structure, pacing, transitions, audience management, theatrical direction, and the development of larger performance concepts.
Remote Consulting, Wherever You Perform
My consulting work is conducted internationally through Zoom, WhatsApp video calls, and other remote communication platforms. This allows me to collaborate with performers across different countries and time zones without requiring an in-person meeting.
Sessions may involve reviewing recorded performances, discussing technical challenges, examining existing routines, refining scripts, or collaboratively developing new material. Depending on the project, consultations may consist of a single conversation or an ongoing creative collaboration.
Good magic is rarely improved by technique alone. Often, the greatest improvements come from changing what an audience experiences, understands, remembers, and ultimately believes.
Built on Relationships, Not Just Bookings
Much of my consulting work develops organically through word of mouth, professional friendships, and connections within the international magic community.
If we've previously crossed paths at a magic convention, gathering, or event, including Magi-Fest or the Blackpool Magic Convention, please mention it when contacting me. I always appreciate knowing where our paths may have crossed.
Magic has been a lifelong passion, and not every professional conversation needs to become a commercial engagement. I regularly share ideas, feedback, and creative guidance on a pro bono basis when circumstances and availability allow.
For more extensive consultations, ongoing collaborations, complete show development, or larger creative projects, professional rates can be discussed individually based on the scope of the work.
Your Work Remains Your Work
I understand the importance of discretion within the magic industry. Original methods, unpublished material, proprietary routines, and creative concepts deserve appropriate confidentiality.
Some collaborations are conducted under confidentiality agreements, and client identities or project details are not publicly disclosed without permission.
Have Something in Mind?
Whether you're looking for a second opinion on a routine, a fresh perspective on your performance, or a creative partner for a larger production, feel free to reach out. Tell me a little about your experience, what you're developing, and how I might be able to help.
